Director of Business Development
Mark founded and pastored a successful multi-ethnic church in the City of Chicago for ten years. He and his family then went to Islamabad, Pakistan to serve with Teen Challenge (a drug rehab non-profit organization). They founded and provided leadership to Teen Challenge Pakistan for seven years.
Mark was then asked to serve with Assemblies of God World Missions as an Area Director. His responsibilities were strategic, administrative and pastoral. He and his wife oversaw workers from the United States and other nations serving in ten Muslim Central Asian nations.
After eight years, Mark was asked to serve as the International Director of Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim Peoples. This non-profit organization assists the Church globally in understanding the Islamic religion, the cultures of Muslim peoples in global contexts, and how to engage them with kindness through relationships in community and workplace. He served in this role for six years.
After Global Initiative, Mark was chosen to serve as President of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. The two years he served as President, the seminary saw an increase in enrollment, succeeded in meeting its financial goals, and set a record in unrestricted giving to the seminary.
Mark currently serves as Director of Business Development at Texzon Utilities. He relates well to people and is innovative. Mark enjoys sharing a vision with people to raise support for non-profit organizations, or to raise money for investment opportunities. At Texzon, his efforts are focused on acquiring, maintaining, developing, and growing relationships with executives, directors, and managers in the energy industry.
Mark enjoys family, people, innovation, hiking, reading, coffee, and seeing over the horizon.
